Color corrected print data without the time and expense of an outside supplier? We did it for Germany’s top custom publishing shop, KircherBurkhardt. It was a logical extension of the editorial workflow systems we had already built for them. Best-practice companies like this do not settle for compromises. We worked with color management guru Steffen Matt to install a seamless pre-press regime into the workflow of the company. The system is managed from two workstations and handles both magazine and newspaper printing systems. The results are so true, the whole set up has been certified by the fogra printing standards association. Coupled with the editorial workflow technology we developed for the company, this system meets tough industry standards while insuring total independence of the entire production cycle at the same time.
German trade journal PAGE even profiled the pioneering project in its December 2006 issue.
